On almost all modern machines, acpi handling is *required*. Especially on something so new as your machine. Without the acpi handling, it *will* work worse. It is gauranteed. Please stop sending us reports about 'without acpi it works different'; it adds no information. Of course it works differently. I bet it works different if you don't power it on, too.
