Hi Jan,

thanks for the answer. It was the first thing i checked. Importing data on Osirix resulted in one series of 180 images (15 slices x 12 b values). I also tried to export the data from osirix and the import MITK with no luck. Below there is the file structure of the data exported directly from the MR console.

Osirix export exactly the same file structure.

In your data, every single image corresponds to a single dicom file?

Best Regards

Hi Nicolò,

following the log output you have posted it seems that your data is possibly
not complete. The error message appears if the number of dicom files recognized
for import and the number of acquisition series do not match (more precisely:
the number of files is not a multiple of the number of series). It is possibly
also the reason also why it did not work with slicer.

So maybe try a different export settings on the PACS Workstation. Another
possibility to verify if the data is complete is to try to import the data
with the OsiriX application.

Please let us know about your progress with the import.

Best,
Jan

Subject: [mitk-users] Philips DWI data MITK Diffusion

Hi at all MITK Diffusion user,

I need to do some IVIM analysis, but I'm blocked with dicom import.

I tried to run the command Import DICOM as *.dwi but, although MITK says "Finished
import", I don't found any *.dwi file.

The log is this:

== Initial Directory Scan ==
...found 10 different files
Scanning Headers
...succesfully scanned 5 headers
Sorting
Number of files in series not equal, Some volumes are probably incomplete.
ABORTING

My scanner is and Ingenia 1.5 T (by now i don't remeber software version). I
know there are some problems with Philips dicom.

How can i resolve this problem?

Do you have any suggestion?

Thanks in advance and Best Regards.

Nicolò Cardobi

P.s.: I tried dicom to nrrd conversion with slicer with no luck.
