Can't figure out why it remains inert. It sure looks like it detects OK. In 1.5 there were permissions problems with /dev/event* and all that; I replicated that stuff, no effect. Ran mixxx as root, no effect.
System sees it fine in /var/log/messages, no errors; mixxx sees it, flashes LEDs 6 times at startup and Debug messages, below. ANy suggestions?
