Hi,

As some of you already know, I finished rewriting the LADSPA GUI
yesterday (sorry it took so long). This is how it looks now:

"Error" is a preset I made to test error handling when some plugins
can't be found. Such presets are marked with a '-' sign on the preset
list and loading them results in the message shown above (it no longer
crashes! :)). The on/off buttons aren't working yet. There will be
buttons for channel selection too as shown here:
http://fatcat.ftj.agh.edu.pl/~i7bartki/files/mixxx/ladspa_mockup1.png
or http://fatcat.ftj.agh.edu.pl/~i7bartki/files/mixxx/ladspa_mockup1.svg
(SVG version)
The LADSPA dialog will be integrated into the main Mixxx window in the future.

However, I've encountered a problem with controlling LADSPA plugins by
MIDI. The best solution we came up with so far is adding some generic
controls to MIDI mappings, e.g. "[LADSPA],MIDI1", "[LADSPA],MIDI2" and
so on. Then, after a preset is loaded, it would be possible to assign
some of the knobs to those MIDI controls. I've been thinking about a
popup menu with options like "Assign to MIDI knob #1" etc. but I don't
know how such menu would be invoked. Clicking on a knob with right
mouse button isn't a good solution because it's already reserved (it
resets knob position). Perhaps it would not be very intuitive, anyway.
So, does anyone have any idea?

Thanks,
Pawel
