Hi,

Now that the on/off buttons are functional, I think it was a stupid
idea. Dry/wet knobs would be far more useful:
1. Not all plugins have their own dry/wet (or mix) control
2. They would allow smooth transition between dry and wet signals
(with some effects you would probably hear a click using the on/off
buttons)
3. They would be permanent (in contrast to plugins' dry/wet knobs)
The only disadvantages I can think of is less space for other knobs
and slightly more computations (multiplying all input samples by dry
and all output samples by wet and adding them).
What do you think?

BTW, I found out yesterday that we can already assign MIDI controls to
those on/off buttons by using group "[LADSPA]" and key "EnableEffect0"
(for first slot, "EnableEffect1" for second slot etc.). Not very
useful but it'll be more interesting for dry/wet knobs :)

Oh, and the problem of assignable MIDI controls is still actual so any
ideas are really welcome.
