Yeah, looks interesting, but done by real hardware heads! They emphasis
hardware over function ("24 pots!" rather than what functions are
performed).
My criticisms, more from an overall interface POV than a DJ one:
Too small; controls are tiny. Big controls, big spacing woudl be much
better. The video shows this; cramped fingers twisting tiny dials.
No jog dials!
Some controls you use a lot (faders, headphone switches) some rarely.
Shoudl be arranged that way.
The underlit business is pretty, but in fact will harm control
visibility; like trying to see someone's face when they are back lit.
Is this standalone, or use PD/MAXMSP?
I'll stick with my Hercules...
