That's what I'm saying but there's a confounding factor here: my system board has been changed. I wouldn't say there's a regression because my hardware has changed. Others need to test on the same hardware they had before to know for sure. (I could also install 1.6.1 and compare.) Regardless, I'm just wondering if we can isolate why X.org is so busy with Mixxx even when it's minimized. That was an issue with 1.6.1 as well on the other hardware (just not bad enough to be as noticeable.) Or might it be a bug in the Xorg drivers.
