Okay, this is a pain in the ass to test... Problems: - Absolute mode jiggles as if something was rubbing on the record - Absolute mode doesn't pick up the timecode when using CUE on the CD player (Repeatedly pressing cue causes it to just keep playing)
I get these on my Opteron system in Windows using the ASIO sound API even with high latency settings (and it comes & goes, better with higher latency,) but Windows DirectSound is much better. (The system is nowhere near taxed CPU-wise.) This is true in the release branch as well as 1.6.1. I also tested 1.6.1 and release in Linux and my SiS system board (requiring 48kHz) is definitely affecting things...Mixxx is right on the edge of using too much CPU while it's minimized so it becomes a blathering mess if I have the window up. In both versions I have to increase the latency quite a bit in order for vinyl control to work reliably. (normally 2ms, have to go to 10ms.)
