Vinyl Control input, channelN passthrough = Aux onto deck EQ & fader?
How would I set that up?
It would be more easy to use the existing decks rather than creating whole
new code around Aux decks. Only problem is the per deck mid freq sweeps.
Realistically, for a church band, ive only been in charge of a 6 input mix.
most churches don't have a subwoofer, so trust their bass guitarist with
their volume, which is a mistake in my opinion. Some even trust the
electric guitarist, because the guitarist wants their cab's sound to be
heard. Drums... yeah, unless one has a drum shield, its probably going to
be unmiked.
So..
1. lead vocal.
2. backing vocal 1.
3. backing vocal 2.
4. Accoustic Guitar
5. Electric guitar
6. Other (piano/other instrument)
So yeah, 6 would be enough. Besides, most soundcards can only do two
discreet channel inputs anyway, would take 3 soundcards to get the 6
channels, unless one has a really good soundcard. Ive never been able to
get line in and mic in, in on seperate jack inputs using my onboard
soundcard.
