Maybe it was just crappy driving...? It's hard to argue that the Caprice/Impala was anything but one of the last of the dinosaurs. Only the Crown Vic/Grand Marquis is left. Still, it's pretty sad that the only rear wheel drive CARS GM makes are the Camaro/Firebird, and they're not long for this world.
