could not believe that my memory could fail on one of cars
I'm freaking. I dig up EC, December 1998. There is article
"European Driving Impressions: Audi TT" on page 34.
Quoting description near picture of new generation Quattro
system, p37:
"The TT's new quattro system is based on an electronically
hydraulic multi-plate clutch. Built by Swedish manufacturer
Haldex..."

Also, p37:
"This new quattro system is specific to the TT, as the car's
relativelly short wheelbase and cramped quarters required
lighter, more compact awd system".

I understand it is EC, not a tehnical specification, and they
maybe are writing BS, but thats what I red. Just wanted to
say its not my imagination.
