The Mercedes M-class has three open differentials for power
transfer and uses the four-channel ABS for traction control; Does
this fit your definition of 'COMPLETELY computer driven AWD system'?
It seems to. Although the system is obviously designed for slow-speed
limited traction situations, and not high-speed performance. Or, are
you asking if anyone offers a system that can adjust torque bias
before wheel slippage occurs, based on acceleration/yaw data? That I
don't know. Anyone know about Porsche's system?
