Usually yes but there are exceptions such as the New Beetle... :-)

I was alluding to the fact that model year 2001 is available
for purchase in early/mid 2000.  Similarly, we get European Car
or Car & Driver magazine a full month or more in advance.  Why
can't they publish other useful info like stock prices or
outcome of sporting events in advance by the same amount of time?
I'd never let my subscriptions expire otherwise... :-)
