Step one: buy a sharp ass 3/8in. drill bit. Step two: punch your centers and start small pilot hole @ .125 or so and work up. Use lots of penetrating oil while drilling to keep the bit cutting. I did a Eurosport bar with nutserts on my car in about 30 minutes no problems. It's easy if you are patient.
