Thanks for the replies,I received another reply from the guy. He's willing
to negotiate the price. 
I called my credit union yesterday and they gave me a pre approval for the
car, I was thinking about offering him 10.5K for the car (depending on the
condition) He's about a 4 hour drive from me. I still have my car to sell
once I get the corrado so that should give me another 4-5K to put toward
repairs/upgrades (if needed) on the Corrado and help pay it off. Do you
think $10.5K would be an insult? I really would love to have this car. It's
black on black, which I've heard is somewhat rare.
