I just bought a 93 SLC myself. Mine is less than perfect condition, but
that can be expected with 165k miles! I paid $7500 for mine, and only paid
that much because it's black/black.

Anyway, yes there are lenders who will do a loan on a 93, but a 93 SLC is
only going to book at about $6000-$7000. You might have better luck going
for a collectable/historical type of loan. I've found that credit unions
are usually more flexible on such matters. I've also heard recently that a
lot of Porsche guys finance purchases through some place called People
First (At least I think that's what the name was).
