New topic: the fix broke it. Apparently I had two problems.
Problem #1: the ISV and 5th injector were using each other's connectors. Both put out 12 volts, but apparently with some sort of different signals. I switched them and it made all the difference in the world. The car idles much lower, isn't lumpy, and is much much smoother all around. Problem #2: the wires to the ISV (the correct ones) had split casings and the one pin-sorta-thing was pulled way back in the connector, not making contact with the ISV contacts. Rewired it, works like champ. Both of those were solved, but now I have a new problem. Two actually. When the car is cold, pushing in the clutch stalls the engine. Doesn't sputter, the revs just come down smoothly and it dies. Second problem: when I disengage the clutch to shift, the engine revs from where it was to about 500-750 rpms higher, even with my foot off the gas before I press the clutch. Any ideas? The ISV is clean and shiny inside, all the tubes going to it are clean and obstruction free. Everything is in good shape, the only thing I can think of is that maybe the ISV compensates for a heavier flywheel than my lightened one and ends up revving the motor. Shouldn't Motronic learn all of this and adjust accordingly? I kinda liked how the revs dropped really quickly and how the motor ran cold before I 'fixed' this, but that smoothness at idle is growin on me...
