K-star or V-sam is what most people are using on KR engines with bigger displacement or turbos:

Subject: More fuel for 2.0?
Date: Wed, 11 Jul 2001 19:20:00 +0200

I finally broke my 1.8 in spectacular fashion and upgraded to a complete 9A
block below my existing KR head and FI system. The torque is good but I feel
there is more potential.

I read that you need a fuel enrichment module when you make this upgrade.
Thing is I have the older CIS system with the warm-up regulator and black
fuel distrbutor (a la Mk1). If indeed I need more fuel do I:

1 - Rig the warm-up regulator to operate even when the motor is not cold,
thereby allowing the plunger to rise more easily, ie more fuel for same air
volume?
2 - Increase system fuel pressure by placing shims in the fuel distributor?
If so how much of a pressure increase will cut it?
3 - Simply adjust the air flow sensor with a 3mm allen key to give more
fuel?
4 - Leave everything alone and enjoy the existing torque?

TIA
