Yes, my point exactly. Um, and the designers as well... believe me I've read the books, studied the drawings, dreamt about owning something bigger, better, and faster than the '68 912 with a big bore kit and dual 48mm webbers I had while in University. Actually the designs are similar but the build quality and execution was a far cry better than the beetles. If I had the money, I'd buy a nice used RS America. Clayton
