Can some other Porsche historian give Ratlow a little
history lesson. Holland?
Just because the 944 evolved from the 924 and was
wholly designed/built by Porsche, that does not legitimize
the 924 any further... Duh!!!
And who designed the Bug???
But I understand your need to defend Jay, it's not like your
car has been parked in his garage for 6 months or anything...
Stick to BMWs, you're marginally better at it...

yes yes yes...Something son and I agree on. Porsches are not VW's and
VW's are not Porsches. However in Jay's defense, the 924 still shares the
same chassis with the 944 (actually the 944 came out of it), it still is
rear wheel drive and it has a rear trannie. Hence, I think it is a real
porsche...even though it's not a 911. Most Porsche a$$holes (and most of
them are) think if it ain't a 911 is ain't sh*t.
Oh btw, the 914 is nothing more than a bug with a different body ;) heehee
