WHy not get Elgin to grind you a custom set for 1/2 the cost of Schricks? I had
2 different cams ground from them, and I never had a problem with them. $217
out the door, including the requisite lash caps, and heat treating. 924's are
known to eat cams from lack of oil, and these 2 stayed in great shape for the
entire time of 2 years that I switched between them. Also, I had no problem
with the lash caps at 7500RPM continuous duty. The good thing with Elgin is
they will do a cam to your specs, based on weight/HP/torque and the flow #'s of
the head at .100" lift increments. Check them out at www.elgincams.com Im not
affiliated with them, but I think they do a good job for a pretty good price,
albeit they are a tad on the slow side.

  Subject: Agressive Cams?

I'm looking for a set of cams that provide good power in the upper RPM bands.
I don't care about low end at all since this is for a car that is being set up
for drag racing and forced induction.

Is the Schrick combo the way to go? What duration should I get?

  Thanks,

  Steve
