Doh!! And here I was trying to be diplomatic... BTW, American
manufacturers ruined two neat little coupes from the 50s - the
Corvette AND the Thunderchicken. My '66 T-Bird was loaded with
gadgets from power windows and door locks (remember, this WAS the
mid-60s) to a swing away steering wheel and sequential turn signals -
it was all nifty but damn if that car didn't outweigh my old pickup
truck ('90 GMC 1/2 ton 4x4 SWB)
