You can't go wrong with the bilsteins and Shine Racing
springs and rear swaybar.  That's what I have in my
'90 GLI and it totally kicks ass.  Much better
handling (IMO) than the H&R, Autotech, whatever other
"sport" springs that are out there.  The car takes an
immediate set in corners, is totally neutral, doesn't
push, I can induce oversteer when I want it with a
little left foot braking and the ride is surprisingly
comfortable because of the retained wheel travel...
