I have had the SRS suspension on my 87 gti for abou 1 1/2 years now and think it's great for all around use too. I have the Boge shocks and they seem fine although I have never compared them to the Bilsteins.
Actually, the original design for the SRS rear bar was built by Dick (Shine) for my ITA car about 15 years ago! That design was a tube that replaced the OEM bar with a spline at one end and a flat plate on the other that allowed it to be easily removed by only removing one wheel! I've known Dick for about 25 years; he has worked with us on road race, autocross and pro rally efforts and has always impressed. BTW, I just had my car aligned and went for -.9 camber and zero toe.
