That should tell you something.  The autotech sticks just don't have as
much lift as the other manufacturers cams... otherwise you would need the
valve springs to cope with the increased lift at higher rpm's.  As for the
TT valve springs failing, I can't believe they sell those things.  Those
are not "high-rev" valve springs by any means.  They are stock VW diesel
valve springs.. and diesels physically don't rev above 5 grand- the
physics of a diesel motor causes it to stop making power at about 4-5k.

I'm really surprised that tt still sells those things.
