Ok guys. Here's the Q&A between myself and Todd Sager of AWE from January
'99, before I went to Schrick 260's:

Hi Holland,

<< Do you have any experience with the new Autotech 16V cam set? They make
some pretty bold claims (of course) about them vs the Schrick 260's. I've
also heard that Ron Wood of VW Specialties out here in CA likes them better
than the Schricks, as well. What thinkest thou? >>

While we have had no direct experience with the Autotech 16V cams, the specs
were enticing enough to call TT to find out the "truth". They found the
dyno results to be little more than the Euro intake cam. Apparently, their
advertised specs were way optimistic, with their Cam Doctor program showing
a basically stock exhaust profile, with the intake similar to the Euro. His
favorite 16V cam set, by the way, is the 256 Schricks.

There ya have it!

That's about as definitive an answer as you will find. And this was well
before TT had their 16V cam set available. Oh, and the "His" of "His
favorite cam set..." is Darrell Vitone, founder of TT, who's been building
fast H2O VW's since most of you were runnin' around in diapers...

Not trying to be a smart ass, just presenting the facts.
