< How does the lower temp fan switch help? I would think that the fan would be on when it's in the hot zone anyway. It lowers the "hot zone". It kick on at a lower temp and keeps things from getting as hot. If you go with an external cooler you may not need to go with the switch unless you still have water temp issues. I guess it depends on what is causing your high temps. Greg
