A G60 is a supercharged 8v engine.

980,000 miles?! That's a typo right?

Subject: [a2-16v-list] OT: 2 unrelated Corrado questions

Has any one ever had a Corrado flywheel resurfaced. If so, How did they
do
it? I work for a company that remans flywheels. We use a CNC lathe
that
makes a better, closer to factory, surface than the old way of turning a
FW.

The pins and cover bolts go thru the ring gear. We don't want to cut
down
the ring gear but its height needs to change with the friction surface.
I
think we could take off the ring, cut behind it and put it back on. Any
imput
would be appreciated.

Second.
I found a '91 G60 auto Corrado with 980,000 miles for $2800. I spotted
it on
a very small car lot. It is white and has a very clean interior. The
only
thing I didn't like was a 2 inch spot where the paint was baked on the
hood.
It was half way up the hood and close to the drivers side edge. What
would
cause this?
What is the going rate for an auto G60?
Is the G60 like the 2.0 16v engine in the Passat?/ What makes it a G60?
