well i checked the VIN on carfax and it turns out the car was totaled and the current owner bought it at a salvage auction. it is also came back as Flood damage.
the owener called me ansd i asked if it was ever in an accident he said "No not that i know of" he came clean after i told him i checked it out. I told him i would give him $700.00 for it just to see what he'd say he was originaly asking $2000.00 OBO and before i found out it had a salvage title i was gonna offer him $1,500.00 He declined my offer of $700 now the only reason i want the car is for parts, i mean it has a relativley low mileage 2.0 16v at 87k miles what do you guys think is the higest i should offer this guy once again its a 91 GTI 16v 2.0 red eibach sprigs, brospeed exaust GLI recaros, power windows and mirrors, needs clutch, headliner and maybe some belts and a tune up...
