Well maybe it should be announced as not just A2 16V list? I was a happy A2
16V owner until it was stolen and I was happy to be on this list because
everything applied. Still I like to help out 16V owners and I do if they
have problems and I certainly have met some frends here. Also there are very
experienced (maybe professional) vw gurus like Alex who could help out with
almoust anything starting from the theory and ending with hardcore
perfocrmane subjects. It does not matter wether it was just a tech talk or
real help to someones project gone wrong. I have learned most form this list
and there was lots of DIY info. Now its different, i guess all the techtalk
is gone and whats left is the original A2 16V community but numbers
decreasing. Nowadays people are talking more forced inductions and whole
subject slowly is getting out of your backyard garage, it has became dark
and secret techstuff offering only performane numbers for the public, and
everything seem to be burried somewhere inside mysterios chips. I believe
many people on this list (at least some time ago) were experienced but they
"had to grow" or moved to other projects.
Yes 16V list certainly needs webforum. I believe the web has taken over,
too.
