The list has always been focused on A2 16v cars but in reality the list catered to most all VWs that were available with the 16v motor (in other words the A2 Golf and Jetta and to a lesser degree, the Mk2 Slorocco).
My experience with A2 16v cars has been focused more heavily on racecars which makes my input more limited than before.
