Your goals are admirable but the worst thing you can do to a car is to park it (garaged or not). I tried the same thing with my car and it kept falling apart even though it was parked - silly stuff like stuck calipers, dry-rotted seals and so forth. Then my rental-kid backed in into a kerb and I realized that I was stupid for not enjoying the car - if it gets destroyed, that's a shame but at least I was able to enjoy it.
