When I bought my Jetta over 3 years ago I don't remember the exact temp as
shown on the mfa, but I remember it was high. I bought a new radiator
just because it was relatively inexpensive and I figured it would help a
bit. Made a huge difference in mfa oil temp. At least 30 degrees. I was
taking it to the track often so temps were higher than normal and I just
wanted to do anything possible to keep temps reasonable.
