Then I'd leant towards the distributor..  Ive never seen a broken
belted motor turn over at normal speed.  Good luck and keep us posted. 
If it isn't the distributor and/or cap/rotor, then we'll go from
there..  But right now, that's where I'd place my money..

Easiest way (for me) is pop off the dizzy cap, and turn the engine
