I recently found a good 2.0 16V in a Passat. Looks just like the GTi's They're asking $175. Is this a good deal? I noticed a hydraulic clutch, how much modification would I need to get in a Gti? It'd make a great winter project.
Steve PS I have a 2.0 16V (I ran it w/out oil) that's just taking up space, I thought it'd be worth it to have rebuilt. I now think not. What if anything should I strip off it before selling it for scrap?
