Correct me if I am wrong (probably am), but if ambient air pressure
is 14.7psi, then in a normally aspirated motor, at, say, 10:1 C/R,
wouldnt that be a (dry) compression level of 147psi? 10.5:1 @
14.7psi would be 154psi, no?

If you're at sea level, compression of 125 is very,
very low. It should be 190+, preferably over 200.
