Gee, Matthew - are you maybe volunteering the General Li as an archetype
for a model? Wouldn't it make more sense to offer the stock version
first, and then be able to customize to match a specific full-size car?
(not that I'd turn down a Hemi-Orange-with-Stars-&-Bars-on-the-roof one
in comparison to this suck-ass thing! Actually, having one matching my
'87, _AND_ a General Li, would be even better . . . just sayin'!)

I have never seen an accurate model of a GTI 16V anywhere in any size or
material.
Seems to the companies want to reuse their Golf molds and just tack on the
round lights and call it a day.
I wonder what it would cost to get one made by a 3D printer, maybe we can all
work together to gather the schematics and chip in to hire someone to put them
together to had all the parts be 3D printed.
