The deal with the ABF vs the 9A is the ABF develops more torque due to a
more favorable bore/stroke ratio. The problem with converting a US spec Mk2
to the ABF is it requires different exhaust headers/manifold, which are
almost unobtainium in the US. I seem to recall that Eurospec Sport in
Gilroy California used to sell ABF specific parts. Ah, memories of better
times...
