Perhaps I should go and wash my mouth out. But till we get our mirror running fast, the fastest Ubuntu mirror I am using at the moment is 'http://ubuntu.fastbull.org/ubuntu'. Also when I install a distro from a CD I set the 'date and time zone' to Italy for a faster installation then change the time zone back to Malta after installation. As we know the mirror will default to Malta which at the moment makes a slower installation.
