Not to spoil the fun, but wouldn't
a mirror service that works (currently
mirror.linux.org.mt does not resolve)
be more beneficial to ALL Maltese Linux
users?

I can probably chip in some translations but my time is very variable -
some times I might have lots of time on my hands and at others I won't

I can arrange a meeting with the language council - I'm in the

same terminology across products and platforms.

You also want to coordinate this effort with the a linguistic
society. The choice of words you use could mark a shift in the
        Maltese language.

How many computer users are there in Malta for whom, the
            only thing that
is holding them from using libreoffice, is the fact that
            there is no
            Maltese version?

Or to put it in other words, what are the advantages of having
libreoffice in Maltese, apart from being able to say proudly
            that we
have libreoffice in Maltese (without mentioning how awkward
            it will be:
Gemma for save, edittja for edit, templejt for template?

If you convince me that this project is worth the time spent
            on it, I'm
