I called a few people and everyone read about the 20% raise in the news but
no one got a confirmation from Asus... so who knows what's gonna happen. I'm
ordering mine from Micro-Bytes later this afternoon, they told me that their
shipment of 1000HE will come in in the middle of next week, so thats like 4
business days.

This guy also got denials from Asus reps:

Still, I'm not taking any chances, 20% of 475$ is close to 100$.

This makes me think that a false rumors of price hikes might be a good way
to increase short term sales. :)
