I called a few people and everyone read about the 20% raise in the news but no one got a confirmation from Asus... so who knows what's gonna happen. I'm ordering mine from Micro-Bytes later this afternoon, they told me that their shipment of 1000HE will come in in the middle of next week, so thats like 4 business days. This guy also got denials from Asus reps: http://www.liliputing.com/2009/02/asus-netbook-price-hikes-on-the-way.html Still, I'm not taking any chances, 20% of 475$ is close to 100$. This makes me think that a false rumors of price hikes might be a good way to increase short term sales. :) -- David Pelletier http://spareminds.org
