I fail to see how it's constructive that if every time someone mentions a proprietary device and it working with Linux, one person tells them they are hurting themselves, and the other person turns around and stereotypes them as living in their parents basement. Similarly, in another thread I found out that because I want a camera on my phone that I'm some sort of pervert. Feel free to start a thread that actually involves discourse. > > I am pro freedom too most industry will do what is good for the > industry not the consumer (ex: seatbelts) until people protest, we > need to speak up to change things. > Yes but there is no point in biting off your nose to spite your face. If being able to use an iPhone with Linux is the difference of getting a few more people using Linux then they shouldn't be jumped on in the process. All this will create is a list lacking in different points of view, absent of any discourse. > > imho > > Tricia > _______________________________________________ > mlug mailing list > [email protected] > https://listes.koumbit.net/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/mlug-listserv.mlug.ca >
