Not everyone sees Windows as bad. I would never use it on servers, but as a
gaming platform, its much better than anything else.

That's one way to see it. But I dont think I'm hurting myself as the iphone
in my opinion is by a really long stretch the best phone you can buy today.
I wish I could buy a N900, but I'm not going to shell out 1000$ for a phone.
Your logic is flawed, when you pick a product, you're not working against
your freedom. Something does work against your freedom when its forced down
your throat.
