Debian is currently in a code freeze for the next stable version of the system, version 6.0, called squeeze, alias testing. It's the version I've been using on my desktop and my laptop for about a year now. They're looking for people to test the new installation procedure, and to test the new installation documentation. If you're game, go visit http://www.debian.org/releases/testing/ -- hendrik P.S. I din't use the new installer when I installed it -- that was a long time ago, when 'testing' referred to the previous release, and I've just been upgrading it continuously ever since. _______________________________________________ mlug mailing list [email protected] https://listes.koumbit.net/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/mlug-listserv.mlug.ca
