Can anyone _confirm_ a router being sold these days with a/b/g/n
capabilities that supports DD-WRT?
It is a real mess to try and figure out which will, especially with the
differences in -CA models, and the fact you can't see the revision of
the model without going and opening a box usually.
On the same note, am willing to trade a brand new D-link DIR-655 N
router for a WRT54G(L) that will support dd-wrt :) This is a good deal
if you don't care about flashing your router and you want to upgrade
from ye olde blue box.

OK, I have confirmed that the NetGear WNDR3700 on sale at futureshop for
~$120 is both dd-wrt (there is a special build for it (with pppoe
server, USB and NAs capabilities), apparently netgear hired them to do
QoS work on the netgear firmware) and openwrt compatible.
Specs:
WIFI: Dual-radio 2.4 & 5 Ghz
CPU: ARM 680Mhz
ROM: 8MB
RAM: 64MB
USB port with support for printing and storage.
Basically, it is an awesome router, I can so far highly endorse it if
you want a WRT-compatible router.
They also sell the WNDR3500 which has scaled down specs but which is
actually branded in-store as being open-source. I will have one of these
in a week and will test it as well.
Thanks to all who responded,
Jeremy
