I'm quite happy with the LG O2X that I got for $380 from Wind Mobile.
And it's $30 for a 5G data plan and all you can talk/text from Wind zones
to anywhere in Canada. I've moved to Ontario though, not sure what's
available in QC (I know Wind's not there). It has hdmi out, dual core
1.2ghz I believe, around 8G internal flash plus it accepts microsd, has a
glass screen, microUSB charging/connection, etc etc. The
Nexus is supposed to be slightly inferior in all respects except it
supports NFC (Near Field Communication). Oh, the O2X (P999) also supports
WCDMA, so it works with Wind/Mobilicity.
That said, there are many many many android dual core phones out there
that compete (beat) iPhone on price and hardware.

The newest Apple iphones and other smartphones with a double core CPU do
rival the computer, and with a $75 per month 6 Gb data plan, become a
valid replacement (with a video-out cable for a larger screen). Is there
an android version of the iPhone (and probably cheaper)?
Happy New Year to all MLUGERS, and Leslie, I owe you a gourmet coffee at
MacD!
