I am trying to resurrect my 40 year old electronics hobby and I find there is very few resources to draw on. I know of two stores with related equipment Access Electronique in Dollard-des-Ormeaux and Addison in Laval.
There are some sales people in the stores that could deal with a question like yours but I think the answer would be no we don't carry it. ( Better than what's JTAG?) There used to be a store called Active on the west side of Decarie near Ferrier ?? I don't know if it move or closed. I bought an arduino the 2 years ago. Maybe one of the hacker spaces in MTL would know.
