Ide yang diungkapkan mas Donny/Risto menurut saya sangat brilian dan
menjanjikan.
Patut diapresiasi dan ditindak lanjuti, but how?

Saya pribadi mengusulkan:
1. Membentuk tim kecil think tank/penggagas yang terdiri dari beberapa
alumni yang berminat dan mempunyai keahlian khusus dalam investasi, finance
dan bisnis. Major action plans, termasuk platform, masalah organisasi, fund
raising dll, dibahas di sini.
2. Membuat rencana master plan jangka menengah, 5-10 tahun, untuk memberi
gambaran (general) kemana organisasi ini nantinya. Saya yakin banyak alumni
akan tertarik jika arah organisasi jelas. Ada kemungkinan banyak alumni
akan bergabung bukan karena alasan finansial an sich, mungkin karena
keterikatan emosi, kepedulian sosial dll.
3. Membuat rencana jangka pendek investasi apa yang dapat dilakukan dengan
sukses yang dapat menarik keikutsertaan lebih banyak alumni. Sebagaimana
orang lain, kebanyakan alumni mungkin tergolong risk averse. Alumni butuh
bukti sebelum memutuskan ikut bergabung, meskipun dana yang disetor relatif
kecil.
4. These things take time, be prudent and patient.

Masih banyak alumni yang akan ikut urun saran, lebih baik kita lihat
bagaimana pendapat yang lain.
Maklum hal berat macam begini perlu mikir tenanan.

nb: whistle blower itu sebenarnya sebutan untuk seseorang dalam sebuah
organisasi yang berani (menjadi martir) mengungkapkan masalah dalam
organisasi tersebut supaya orang luar tahu. jadi ingat kuliah business

Mas Agung, terima kasih atas masukannya,� sebenarnya proposal tsb baru
dalam tahap lontaran ide saja,� kalau rekan-ekan pada tertarik dengan ide
tsb, tentunya masih buuuaaanyak yg harus didiskusikan termasuk bentuk
kongrit badan hukumnya, bidang usahanya, orang-orang yg mau diajak nantinya
sebagai tim perumus, dll, dll, istilahnya saya hanya sebagai whistle blower
saja, untuk selanjutnya ditanggapi, dipikirkan lebih mendalam, dan bila
dianggap feasible, baru kita explore lebih jauh & mendetail untuk
merealisasikannya. Sekali lagi to make it happen, akan sangat memerlukan
pekerjaan besar, butuh komitment,� keseriusan, pengorbanan (waktu, uang,
tenaga, pemi! kiran, dll).

Ide/pemikiran dasar prosal tsb adalah:

   Sesuai dengan latar belakang pendidikan kita sebagai master manajemen
   (baca ahli manajemen), tentunya kita dapat berbuat sesuatu sesuai dengan
   keahlian kita tersebut, apalagi bila kita dapat menyatukannya dalam satu
   wadah ekonomi yg cocok untuk saling bersinergi , istilahnya to make use
   of� it atau istilah nya pak Hani Handoko to leverage bila dijabarkan
   lagi untuk dapat menghasilkan yg terbaik dari resourses yg ada.
   Didalam network alumni kita terdapat begitu banyak sumber daya
   (resource) yg sangat berkualitas,� baik dari segi kompetensi, segi
   jumlah dan� juga saya kira dari sisi kemampuan financial anggota kita,
   istilahnya skala ekonominya sangat memungkinkan, dan bahkan menurut saya
   sangat tidak terbatas untuk diberdayakan.
   Kenapa bentuknya koperasi?,� karena menurut pendapat saya pribadi,
   barangkali akan lebih cocok untuk kondisi kita dengan beberapa
   pertimbangan sbb: (a) Bentuk hukumnya sangat sederhana, hak anggota sama
   untuk semua (one member one vote), jadi tidak ada yg saling mendominasi/
   memonopoli, (b) Bukankah koperasi itu seharusnya adalah sebagai soko
   guru perekonomian bangsa kita (UUD pasal 33), jadi ada baiknya kita ikut
   berpartisipasi dalam mewujudkannya, (3) Almamater kita (UGM) terkenal
   sebagai penganut filosofi ekonomi kerakyatan? kita harus bangga dengan
   predikat itu,� dan saya kira koperasi adalah salah satu wadah ekonomi
   sebagai implementasi filosofi tsb (I might be wrong on this, but at
   least I� am still confident on that). �Perihal teman yg bergabung dalam
   alumni PT-nya, bentuknya adalah koperasi dan bergerak dalam bidang UKM
   agro business, lumayan juga padahal anggotanya hanya sekitar 100an
   orang,� tetapi investasi perorangnya (tabungan awal) memang cukup besar?
   kalau enggak salah 5 jetean per orang.
   Soal gagasan bidang usaha yg saya lontarkan dalam proposal tsb, itu
   hanya sebagai 'pemantik' saja.� Esensinya adalah bahwa pada tahap-tahap
   awal nantinya, tentunya tugas utama kita adalah fund raising dulu supaya
   terkumpul dulu dana yg sufficient enough untuk memulainya, dan selama
   dalam tahap pembelajarannya wadah ini (learning curve), sebaiknya
   investasinya yg less risk, soal bentuk kongkritnya apa, monggo
   disepakati, kan rekan kita banyak para ahli investasi yg bisa kasih
   masukan dan advise.� Dalam mimpi saya sih, misalnya dalam 25 tahun
   kedepan, business entity kita tersebut punya bisnis unit yg tetap
   merakyat, misalnya punya armada taxi 2000 unit yg dikelola sebara baik,
   kemudian bisn! is unit lain dibidang UKM yg baiknya tetap dibidang
   ekonomi kerakyatan, yg sekaligus dapat menciptakan lapangan pekerjaan
   bagi banyak orang, dan bila nanti usaha kita ini sukses, kita bisa
   memberikan bea siswa bagi orang-orang yg memerlukan yg baring kali juga
   nantinya bisa sekaligus sebagai salah satu solusi jangka panjang
   terhadap polemik 'beasiswa � hati' yg lagi hangat dimilis kita saat ini.
   Perihal konsern perihal keamanan investasi ini, makanya kita akan
   memilih yg terbaik dari teman kita (khususnya dari segi moral,
   keribadian dan rasa tanggung jawab) untuk mengelolanya,� saya kira
   karena organisasi kita ini diikat oleh rasa persaudaraan� emosional yg
   sangat kental, saya kira dia tidak akan macam-macam, karena hal itu akan
   dibawah sepanjang hayat, lagi pula kita dapat menciptakan mekanisme
   monitoring & pengawasan yg berlapis melalui keterwakilan per angkatan
   (hal ini bisa kita jabarkan lebih detail lagi nantinya)

Pada intinya/ide dasarnya� (missi dan visinya) adalah bagaimana
memberdayakan sumberdaya kita yg tidak terbatas ini menjadi sesuatu yg
produktif, yg bisa sebagai wadah penampungan kreatifitas manajerial kita
dan sekali gus sebagai wahana pengabdian social group kita dalam turut
menciptakan lowongan kerja dinegeri kita ini (jangan lupa lho penganguran
terbuka saja sudah diatas 10 juta orang saat ini, dan pengguran terselubung
bisa mencapai 45 jutaan).

Begitu banyak wacana, ide, usul berlontaran dimilis kita, tapi belum
mengarah kepada realisasi yg mengkerucut.. so shouldn't we do something on
it? When and how?..... seperti dalam kuliah-kuliah manajemen di kelas kita
(kebetulan saya ambil konsentrasi strategic management), pekerjaan besar
itu umumnya dimulai dari ide kecil? biasanya ide itu berjuta jumlahnya,
merealisasikanya itu yg suuusaaaah. Saya kutipkan sebuah kata bijak dari
suatu buku motivasi (lupa judulnya) bahwa persamaan dan perbedaan antara
seorang pemimpi dan seorang leader hanyalah seujung rambut.� Keduanya
mempuyai jutaan mimpi, hanya sang pemimpi, tiap malam menggandakan mimpinya
itu dalam mimpi lagi (tiap malam berpimpi teruuuuussss), sementara sorang
leader itu pick one of his dream and do something on it and make it happen?
ah kok kayak seminar-seminar motivasi di MLM saja?.

serius thd ide2 di milis ini atau cuma sekedar jd
penggembira aja. so, explore terus mas Donny and juga
mas PAW buat ide2nya yg lebih konkret...! .saya sbg
junior siap membantu!!
