Hi, * first, check your drive for errors and back up. * start the program, choose 'file - open', and then go to default.mem * if you have been mixing a USB and a desktop version, there could be some confusion about where the files are supposed to be ending up * mysteriously, sometimes Windows makes the .mnemosyne and the backup dirs read only, even though you think you changed it. This could be the cause of the missing backups, but I'd be happy to track it down with you.
