The problem with occasional backup glitches is not restricted to Mnemosyne. I'm sure it has affected almost all of my applications at some time or other since DOS 2.11 :)
The only safe way is to use a dedicated backup program. I use Genie, which is great. But as a miserable Highlander, I probably wouldn't have bought it if I had known about the free "Cobian Backup": http://www.techsupportalert.com/best-free-backup-program They have an excellent forum: http://www.cobiansoft.com/forum/Default.aspx?g=topics&f=4 I keep all my data for all applications in Documents\Data. For example, Documents\Data\Mnemosyne This means that I am backing up a single directory, rather than searching all over my hard drive for data to back up. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "mnemosyne-proj-users" group.
